New Living Room Rug

Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I surely did, and now it's back to a busy week. I've been doing a few updates here and there around the house this past week and I can't wait to show you what I've been up to! First up is a new rug. I ordered her a couple of weeks ago and she was delivered on Friday.

Book Storage for Baby Room

organizing books in a nursery

We've been having crazy weather here in Oklahoma on and off for the past several weeks. On some days it is bright and sunny while the next is back to freezing and windy. Nature seems to be holding on tightly to the last bit of winter for as long as it can. On the days that it's beautiful, I've been going outside to work on some projects that I've had to put off for the past few months. Do you remember when I first mentioned the book and toy storage problem (or lack thereof) in my daughters room? Well, it looks like that no longer! Here is what the reading nook looks like today ~

Bathroom Design Board

I put together a bathroom mood board that is bright, cheerful, and happy. I focused on accessories because that's the fun part in any decorating project, right?!

New Pillows

easy diy pillows

I found some pretty fabric in Hobby Lobby the other day that reminded me of spring and I thought it would be perfect for new pillows in my front room. So I made some pillow covers using this tutorial yesterday. Here they are sitting pretty in their new home.

I just came across the most wonderful chair and I want it! I think 2 of these would be a great addition to any room.

Entryway Ideas

Home inspiration, entryway

Entryways, we all have them. Some are defined and others need a little help in that department. At my house as soon as you open the front door you are in the living room. There is no separate foyer, no little hallway, no nothing. In fact, the first thing you see walking into the house is a closet door. Exactly what I want to see coming into a home (or not)! This has always been a problem area for me and I want to fix it. Here are a few images for the look and feel that I want to achieve in my little entryway.
