I love springtime and I love florals. So it makes perfect sense for me to blend the two together. I've compiled a list of my favorite floral fabrics that are fresh, young, and new. That's the key with picking florals since florals can easily scream "old lady" if you aren't careful. But since none of these do that, you are safe in picking one of these.
There is something special about having floral fabric in your rooms. Floral patterns bring life and energy to the room just like plants do. There is just something to be said about bringing plants and flowers indoors. I feel like there is a punch of color and a chance for the room to come alive in a way that you don't get without it.

Any of these floral fabrics would be great as throw pillows. While we are on the subject of pillow making, use a feather pillow insert to keep your pillows looking awesome. Yes, there really is a secret to fluffy looking pillows and a feather insert is the key! They hold their shape over time and when it gets squashed, you just fluff it back into place. Too easy! I usually sew my own pillows with a simple pillow cover.
Don't just think florals are limited to pillows. No! You can use them for a chair or chair back, a occasional ottoman, curtains, and on a upholstered headboard. I've even seen some people use fabric as a wallpaper treatment. So the sky really is the limit to what you could do with floral fabrics. I would pair any of these fabrics with black and white stripes or dots, buffalo check, houndstooth, a solid color, and/or a geometric design within the room.
Which floral fabric is your favorite? I especially love numbers 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, and 16. If I had to choose just one than I'll pick number 4. What about you?
