Can y'all believe that it is already Christmas Eve?! I can't! I don't know about you, but I have been busy with Christmas parties, family gatherings, family time, shopping, wrapping, baking, looking at Christmas lights, eating my weight in sugar, and everything else in between! In other words, I've been busy with all the normal holiday festivities during this busy time of the year.

Decorating The Mantel for Christmas

I love to decorate my fireplace and mantel for Christmas. There is something about having a pretty focal point in your living room that says "complete". My Christmas decorating is never finished without hanging up the stockings and doing something, even just a simple something, to the mantel.

Christmas Favorites At Target

Since it is officially past Thanksgiving, it is now time to start the Christmas decorating and turn on the Christmas music! I am about 95% done with my decorating and only have a couple of things left to do before calling it done for the Christmas season! Have you started yours yet?

If you are looking to brighten up your Christmas decorations with a couple of things that take a look at Target. Target is one of my go-to stores for seasonal decorating. (Like with my fall Target decorating picks) I was just in there last week and y'all, they have so many cute holiday decor items! I was oohing and awing my whole way through the store. I ended up with this trio of bottlebrush trees, a paper Joy wreath, and a couple of other cute things from the dollar one spot.

A Completely Honest Review of Stitch Fix

The first time I heard of Stitch Fix was about 3-4 years ago. Everywhere I was looking, people were talking about Stitch Fix and how it was changing the way they shopped. I've been wanting to try the personal styling service out ever since then. Well, last month I finally signed up for my very first box! During the next several days, I greatly anticipated receiving my fix. Would I love it? Would I hate it? Am I wasting the $20 styling fee? Would things fit? So many questions!

Fall is upon us in full swing! That means that it's time to pull out the cozy blankets, boots, sweaters, and pumpkin everything. I was poking around Target and loved all their new things that they have out for Fall. If you are looking for easy, inexpensive ways to decorate your house for this new season that don't include fake orange leaves than look no further!

I wanted to hop on really quick to share a few of the things that I am loving right now during this month of June.

Currently Loving In May

current loves

I cannot believe another month has come and gone! Slow down 2016, you are going too fast! There are so many things to celebrate right now. May means school is *this close* to being done for the school year. My preschooler and I have been doing homeschool this past year and we are nearing the finish line! Hooray! The end of April also says that Mother's Day is next week (!) and summertime is coming very soon! Hang on to your hats and get ready for another awesome, inspirational month of goodies to come here are Emma Marie Designs. In the spirit of celebrating, here are a few of my favorite things this month.

Pottery Barn Favorites

I love looking at catalogues, I can go shopping for my home without even leaving home. Pottery Barn happens to be a favorite store of mine to visit for inspiration and new ideas. Not only do I like to see the new goodies, but I also love to look at the styling of nightstands, tables, bookcases, artwork and so forth. As I was flipping through the new Pottery Barn Bed and Bath catalogue several things caught my eye. So lets go shopping together!

Big Girl Bedding

big girl bedding

I'm getting ready to transition my little girl from the crib to a big girl bed. I feel like I've put it off for a little while, but it's time. It makes me sad knowing that this is her last bit of babyhood. But, before I get all teary-eyed, let me tell you why I'm kind of excited - a room re-do! I feel like a good place for me to start this is by looking at bedding. I leaning more towards softer colors in pink, blue, and aqua. Nothing too girly-girly, theme related, or bold. Here are some of my favorites.
