I can't ever remember a time when everything came to a standstill, state governors are issuing stay-at-home orders, we are having a toilet paper shortage, and people were practicing social distancing for weeks on end!

But I want to challenge you to take some time to focus on the positive side of things - (I get to stay home in my jammies all day while drinking wine, eating chocolate, and binge watching Netflix!). A Birthday Tea Party

We just celebrated my oldest daughter's birthday a couple of weeks ago and I can't believe that she is 5! There is a special something about the 5th birthday, don't you think? Y'all, a part of me still cannot believe that the new year is here! I have been busy around the house taking care of small annoyances (like a picture hanging too low), organizing a few spaces (children's clothes and toys), getting Christmas decor cleared away and stored back in the attic, thinking about goals, and getting my calendar and planner all set for the new year! I bet you have also been doing some of these same things too!

I love to decorate my fireplace and mantel for Christmas. There is something about having a pretty focal point in your living room that says "complete". My Christmas decorating is never finished without hanging up the stockings and doing something, even just a simple something, to the mantel.

Since it is officially past Thanksgiving, it is now time to start the Christmas decorating and turn on the Christmas music! I am about 95% done with my decorating and only have a couple of things left to do before calling it done for the Christmas season! Have you started yours yet?

(Like with my fall Target decorating picks) I was just in there last week and y'all, they have so many cute holiday decor items! I was oohing and awing my whole way through the store. I ended up with this trio of bottlebrush trees, a paper Joy wreath, and a couple of other cute things from the dollar one spot.

As a stay at home mom and homeschool mom, my days can feel very stressful and overwhelming. As soon as I wake up, I am up and running at full speed from the get-go. The kids get up and I am getting breakfast on the table, juggling home management, getting school started for my kids, and trying not to fall behind in anything while managing all the things.
