Hello Friends! How is everyone doing these days? Our country and the world is in an unprecedented time. I can't ever remember a time when everything came to a standstill, state governors are issuing stay-at-home orders, we are having a toilet paper shortage, and people were practicing social distancing for weeks on end!
It is easy to feel worried and anxious about what is going on outside our homes. But I want to challenge you to take some time to focus on the positive side of things - (I get to stay home in my jammies all day while drinking wine, eating chocolate, and binge watching Netflix!). But no matter where you fall, we all need to do a self check in and ask ourselves - "How am I doing? How is my mental health? What do I need to change up or do differently?". Mental health is so important! I encourage you to ask yourself these questions and be honest with yourself. If you need help, reach out. Remember that how you respond sets off a chain reaction in those around you.
As a homebody and introvert, I can easily stay at come for days at a time and be just fine. But, I know not everyone is this same way and some (like my sweet hubby!) start to go stir crazy after being at home for more than a day or two. Regardless of where you might fall on the scale, at some point, you will be asking the question - How do I keep myself busy at home? And what can I do at home for fun? Well, here are over 65 ways that you can combat boredom when stuck at home for days at a time. I hope you find a few new ideas to try out this coming week!
